LUTW empowers underserved communities around the world by providing renewable energy and sustainable satellite internet solutions.
LUTW installs solar panels that benefit off-grid communities, enhance safety, and create new economic opportunities. We also provide hands-on training for students from Canadian universities and polytechnic institutions, such as SAIT and NAIT in Calgary, who volunteer to work on these projects. Our initiatives include no-cost solar installations, training programs to connect students with clean energy careers, and technical support for remote communities, ensuring that clean energy is accessible and beneficial to all.
Here are the projects we’re working on to empower remote communities:
- No-cost solar installations for remote communities
- Hands-on solar training for Canadian students, providing unmatched opportunities
- Technical assistance and solar installations for off-grid communities
- Community/shared solar project development and implementation
- Computer lab project that provides computers with sustainable high-speed satellite internet
Pilot project starting in 2025:
- Hot water system feasibility and design study as a pilot project
