The impact of the installation in Villa Gonzalo and San Antonio in terms of fish farming
As previously mentioned, Light Up The World carried out various projects throughout the Amazon, however, two of them are extremely important and similar to each other. These projects are located in the communities of Villa Gonzalo and San Antonio, both located in the province of Condorcanqui, department of Amazonas.
On the one hand, we find the Villa Gonzalo project, the power of this photovoltaic solar system amounts to 1550 Watts-peak (wp), which will serve for the total electrification of the “Villa Gonzalo Fingerling Reproduction Center”, as well as also for the electrification of the laboratory, where various chemical-biological equipment will be used. Likewise, with regard to the materials used for the installation, there was a 2000 wp Victron Energy brand inverter charger and a 3.6 kw/h lithium battery. On the other hand, the power of the San Antonio project amounts to 910 wp, which will serve to electrify all the facilities of the “Center for the Reproduction and Strengthening of the Fish Value Chain in the middle and lower part of the El Cenepa district”. In similarity to the other project, This has the same inverter, however, the same does not happen with the battery, since it has a 2.4 kw/h lithium battery. Although it is true, the characteristics and structure of the project are quite similar, this is because the dimensions of both buildings are similar, as well as the use previously determined by the authorities.
These projects have had a great impact on fish farming at the
provincial and regional levels. Due to the electrification of the reproduction
centers, the production of different marine species will tend to grow
continuously, since there will be a rigorous control and management of
equipment that guarantees the quality of life of the fish, as well as a proper
production management. A short and medium term goal is the consolidation of
both reproduction centers as one of the most important and influential in the
province.
Projects like these, with the alliance of strategic partners,
generate the tangibility of success in the members of the communities, as well
as at the collective and national level. We generate change and guarantee it.
