Reaching out to your community
Becoming an advocate for sustainability and equity is one of the most powerful ways to help LUTW. One person at a time, one community at a time, we can create change. We have always benefited from a dedicated network of volunteers and supporters who not only spread the word, but also host events, raise money, launch awareness campaigns, start groups or clubs dedicated to sustainability, and much more. Here are some of the ways you can help:
LUTW is excited to announce an innovative partnership with SPARK, Alberta’s first 100% member-owned retail power co-operative focused on green energy. For every household that joins SPARK using the LUTW referral code, SPARK will donate the $1.50 monthly administration fee to LUTW. By joining SPARK you can support LUTW projects at no extra cost to you! Switching is easy, and SPARK customers have the added bonus of cheaper electricity rates. Support green energy, support your community, support LUTW!

Host a fundraiser
If you are interested in organizing a personal event to fundraise for LUTW (e.g. bake sale, gala, concert, yard sales, run or marathon) please contact us to see how we can support your event.
Share your special occasion
Invite friends and family to learn about LUTW and celebrate your special occasion by helping people in need of life changing resources. By asking your guests to give a donation to us, you are providing a meaningful way for people to increase clean energy access around the world. For your upcoming wedding, birthday or holiday celebration ask your guests to give a donation to the communities we serve in celebration of your event!
Make a donation in honor or in memory of a loved one
A special memorial/honorary donation is available if you wish to make a donation as a way of paying tribute to someone special. You can dedicate a donation to a friend or family member online (please select the tribute “Honor Someone with Your Contribution).
