Make a donation in honor
or memory of a loved one
A special memorial or honorary donation
is available if you wish to make a
donation as a way of paying tribute to
someone special. You can dedicate a
donation in recognition of a friend or
family member when making an online
donation or contacting us directly.
For our donors in Alberta
LUTW donors with annual donations
of over $200 are eligible for the
Alberta enhanced tax credit.
* Effective January 1, 2007, the
Alberta government raised the
charitable tax credit for eligible annual
donations above $200 by 60 per cent.
* Including the federal credit,
Albertans now receive a 50-cent tax
credit for every dollar donated over
the $200 threshold. The increase
gives Alberta one of the highest
charitable tax credits in Canada.
