Taste of Peru

This year we start off our year-end giving campaign with Taste of Peru!
Join us for an interactive cooking lesson LIVE from Peru led by a Peruvian Chef, Chef Toño. With over ten years of being a chef, Toño will be joined by our LUTW team in Peru to teach us how to cook Estofado de Pollo! This dish is a Peruvian classic and can be made vegetarian.
A cooking package will be sent to you prior to the class that will include a grocery list of ingredients and a recipe so you can easily follow along. After we’ve cooked up an appetite, sit down with us and enjoy a presentation by the LUTW team while you feast on your creation.
We will be sharing the amazing projects we’ve accomplished this year and where we are headed in 2023.

Where do the funds go?
It is with your help that we are able to transform the lives of those residing in the most remote areas of Peru, the last-mile communities. For the last thirteen years we have been able to transform the lives of families, students, and communities in Peru by building capacity from the simplicity of light.
Access to clean and sustainable energy ensures families can put education, health, and economic opportunity first. We have identified many communities in the Peruvian Amazon that don’t have access to clean energy sources. All funds raised from our kick-off event, Taste of Peru until the end of the year will go towards our next Amazon school project.
While attending this event you won’t JUST be learning to cook an amazing dish but you will know that you are apart of the change.

Ticket price: $40 *includes access to one live stream & one recording of the night.
Can’t make it? Each ticket includes access to the recorded event. Receive the recording once the event commences and cook with Chef Toño whenever you have the time!
